Positioned in Volusia County as the most populous city, Deltona is nearly 25 miles from the coast along Interstate 4.

Constructed in 1871, DeBary Hall, is listed in the National Registry of Historic Places and is open to the public. Located on the banks of the St. Johns River in neighboring DeBary, Florida, the famous hunting estate became a winter guest house to previous presidents, the wealthy Vanderbuilts and Goulds, and even King Edward VII.
