Rooftop Rhythm's Free Concert Series in the Spring and Fall

If you are visiting in springtime or autumn, Forest Acres' Rooftop Rhythms is a free concert series hosted from the Richland Mall's rooftop located at 3400 Forest Drive. This unique venue provides a great experience for all ages. Visit local restaurant's food booths and enjoy the upbeat music and family entertainment.






Forest Acres Neighborhood Parks

Forest Acres boasts several city parks tucked away in neighborhoods. Both Idalia Park and Citadel Park offer playground equipment, open areas for playing, dog walking or picnicking and plenty of bench seating for adults. Area residents flock to Citadel Park to treat youngsters to rides on the dinosaur playground equipment. You'll also find a gazebo and a volleyball pit. However, there are no public restrooms here. Quinine Hill Park, near the intersection of Beltline Boulevard and Forest Drive, features a trail with a rubberized surface for jogging, walking and pushing baby strollers. This park has covered picnic shelters allowing for small family or business gatherings and several wooden porch swings along the crisscrossing paths.

Forest Acres is known to locals for great dining and shopping.
